The historic Robert A. Josey Scout Lodge and surrounding buildings and grounds rely on the generosity of community support to enable the transformational work of Scouting America and Girl Scouts of the USA to happen in Huntsville.
Josey Scout Lodge is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, and your contribution is deductible to the extent allowed by law.
Bench sponsorships may be placed at the Girl Scout House or at Josey Lodge and may be submitted in honor or in memory of someone.
Chilly at the Lodge is our annual fundraiser. Almost always the first Saturday in February.
Many areas of chinking need to be restored or replaced.
Replace logs damaged by age and weather

Numerous logs are rotting.
This corner of the building is sagging.
Fresh paint will help protect the logs.
Most windows don't open and close correctly or stay open. Many windowframes and screens are damaged or missing.
We have many damaged logs.
Our buildings and grounds are always in need of some TLC.
All projects must be approved in advance by the Board of Trustees.
