Built in 1934, the Robert A. Josey Scout Lodge and its Caretaker's Cabin are designated as a Texas Historic Landmark and are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Welcoming all BSA and GSUSA units in Huntsville and supporting Scouting in general, Josey Lodge and other buildings on the property are owned and operated by the 501(c)3 non-profit Robert A. Josey Lodge organization.
